Actions, by default, are sent to the ActionEcho team for diagnostics
and to improve ActionEcho. Actions that are uploaded to the cloud have
text information replaced with randomly generated text as shown below.
Important
CHGZVrlM
This means anything typed into a webpage while recording an action will not be
accessible by the ActionEcho team. Other information included in actions
such as links, buttons clicked, and any other information is included
in diagnostic data uploaded to the cloud. Diagnostic Data can be turned
off in the settings.
Action Contents
Creating Actions with any sensitive personal information such as passwords, bank information,
or SSNs is strictly prohibited. ActionEcho can detect the entry of sensitive information based
on what you click and will stop recording if detected. We prohibit
sensitive information because Actions in ActionEcho are stored locally
on your computer but they are not encrypted, therefore accessible to
anyone with access to your computer.
Do Not store sensitive data in ActionEcho
Open Source
